First question

Do you actually need an app?

This is the most expensive thing we sell, so it's the one we talk people out of most often. An app has to earn a permanent slot on someone's home screen. Most businesses don't need that; they need a website that opens in two seconds.

An app makes sense when

The same customers come back weekly or daily. Ordering has to take fifteen seconds, not two minutes. Your staff need something that works in the field with no signal. You're sending notifications people genuinely want. Or the app is the product.

A website is the better spend when

Purchases are occasional. Most of your traffic is people discovering you for the first time. The main action is a call or an enquiry. Nobody installs an app to book a dentist once a year — and an app can't rank in Google, so local SEO keeps doing the acquisition work regardless.

If you're unsure, we'll usually suggest starting with a fast mobile website plus a proper install prompt, running it for a quarter, and building the app once you can see repeat behaviour in the numbers. It's a smaller first invoice and a much better-informed second one.

What we build

Apps that do a job, not apps that demo well.

Ordering and delivery

Kirana, pharmacy, dairy, tiffin and restaurant. Repeat-order in one tap, delivery slots, UPI and cash on delivery, and a rider view that works when the signal drops between Chinhat and Kamta.

Booking and appointments

Clinics, salons, gyms, diagnostics. Slot management, reminders that reduce no-shows, staff calendars, and a reception view built for someone working fast on a counter tablet.

Learning and coaching

Batch content, test series, attendance, fee status and parent notifications. Video that degrades gracefully instead of buffering forever on a 3G evening.

Field and internal tools

Sales orders, site inspections, service jobs, stock counts. Offline-first: capture on the ground, sync when the phone finds a network. Usually the highest-return app a business builds.

The scope

What ships with every build.

  • Android and iOS from one Flutter codebase, so fixes land on both
  • Designed for entry-level hardware — small install size, low memory use
  • Offline tolerance: the app doesn't die when the signal does
  • An admin panel your staff can run without training you can't repeat
  • Push notifications, with the sense to not send twelve a day
  • Razorpay or UPI payments where money changes hands
  • Phone-number login with OTP, the only login Indian users trust
  • Hindi and English interface where your users need it
  • Crash reporting and analytics wired in from day one
  • Play Store and App Store submission, listings and screenshots
  • Privacy policy and data safety declarations both stores now demand
  • Sixty days of fixes after launch, and the source code handed over

The admin panel is where most agency apps quietly fail. If your counter staff can't manage stock or slots without ringing the developer, you don't have a product — you have a dependency.

App development cost in Lucknow

Three sizes, quoted as one fixed number.

App budgets go wrong when the scope is a conversation instead of a document. Yours will be a document, signed before anyone writes code.

First version

₹1,20,000 – ₹2,00,0008–10 weeks

  • One core flow, done properly
  • Phone-number login with OTP
  • Admin panel and basic reports
  • Push notifications
  • Both stores, submitted

Enough to put in real customers' hands and find out what they actually use.

Full product · most common

₹2,00,000 – ₹4,00,00012–16 weeks

  • Multiple user roles — customer, staff, admin
  • Payments and refunds
  • Live status or order tracking
  • Offline sync for field use
  • Reports and exports your accountant accepts

Where ordering, delivery and multi-branch booking apps generally land.

Platform

₹4,00,000 +Quoted per project

  • Marketplace with multiple vendors
  • Rider or partner app alongside
  • Integration with existing ERP or Tally
  • Scale planning and load testing

Scoped in a paid discovery phase first, because guessing at this size is how projects die.

Running costs, said out loud

  • Server and database hosting — modest until you have real volume
  • Google Play developer account — one-time, in your business name
  • Apple developer account — billed annually, unavoidable
  • SMS or WhatsApp OTP charges, per message
  • Payment gateway fees, taken per transaction
  • Store policy updates a couple of times a year, if you want us to handle them

You'll get the real monthly figure in the written scope, before you commit — not in month three when the first invoice from somewhere else arrives.

How it runs

Ten weeks, in four visible stages.

Weeks 1–2

Scope and screens

We map every screen and every state — including the empty, loading and no-network ones nobody thinks about until launch week. You approve clickable screens before a line of code is written.

Weeks 3–6

Build, in fortnightly drops

A working build on your own phone every two weeks, not a status email. You'll be using the app while it's being made, which is when useful feedback actually happens.

Weeks 7–8

Testing on real hardware

Entry-level Androids, older OS versions, weak signal, aeroplane mode mid-transaction. Then a pilot with a handful of real customers or staff before anyone sees it in a store.

Weeks 9–10

Store submission and handover

Listings, screenshots, privacy policy and data safety forms. Apple review adds a few days and sometimes a round of changes. Then source code, accounts and a recorded walkthrough — sixty days of fixes start here.

Before you ask

Questions from the first meeting.

How much does an app cost in Lucknow?

A focused first version starts at ₹1,20,000. Payments, live tracking and multiple roles push it to ₹2,00,000–₹4,00,000. If a quote you've received is ₹40,000, it's almost certainly a template wrapper around your website, and both stores now reject those routinely.

Do we really need an app?

Only if the same people come back often. Ask yourself how many apps you've installed this year and still open. For occasional purchases, a fast mobile website converts better and costs a fifth as much.

Android and iPhone both?

Yes — Flutter builds both from one codebase, so you're not paying twice or waiting for the second one. We design and test Android-first because that's what most of your customers in UP are carrying.

How long does it take?

Eight to ten weeks for a first version including store submission. Twelve to sixteen for larger builds. Apple's review adds a few unpredictable days, which we plan for rather than promise around.

Who owns the code and the store accounts?

You do. Play Store and App Store accounts are created in your business name, and the source code is handed over at launch. We've inherited too many apps stranded on a former developer's account to do it any other way.

Can you take over an existing app?

Sometimes. Send us the repository and the store links and we'll tell you honestly whether it's cheaper to continue it or rebuild. Both answers happen, and we don't have a preference.

Describe the app in three sentences.

We'll tell you what it would cost, how long it would take, and whether you'd be better off not building it. All three answers come free.
